This is the second time that Guro Carlito Bonjoc has been recognised in this manner. In August of 2007 in Las Vegas Nevada, he was honored with the 2007 Filipino Martial Arts Instructor of the Year Award by the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame as recognised by the International Martial Arts Council of America. His father Grandmaster Carlito Bonjoc was awarded a Life Time achievement award at this same event.
